About this tool

The Keyword Deduplicator removes repeated entries from a keyword list while preserving the original order, and reports exactly which entries repeated. Everything runs locally in your browser, so the words you paste never leave your device and nothing you research is saved to a server. The tool is built for people who need usable output quickly: creators drafting the next video, bloggers planning a month of posts, marketers grouping phrases before writing briefs, and small business owners who want more descriptive ways to talk about what they sell. Instead of guessing which phrasing a reader might type, you start from a topic you already understand and expand it into a wider, better organised set of phrases you can edit, keep or discard.

How it works

Each line is hashed into a map, optionally case-insensitively, so first occurrences are kept and later repeats are counted rather than silently discarded. There is no hidden scoring model and no third-party data feed behind the results, which means the same input always produces the same output. Every phrase you see is assembled from your own words plus a curated vocabulary of modifiers, question openers, audience qualifiers and structural patterns that appear naturally in real searches and social captions. Because the logic is deterministic you can safely re-run a topic, tweak one option and compare the two lists side by side.

How to use it

  1. Enter your topic, keyword list or text in the input panel on the left.
  2. Adjust the options so the output matches the platform, intent or format you are writing for.
  3. Press Generate and review the grouped results on the right.
  4. Copy everything, copy a single line, or download the list as TXT, CSV or JSON.
  5. Use Reset to clear the workspace before starting a new topic.

Example

A 400-line export reduces to 312 unique keywords, with a list showing the 41 phrases that appeared more than once.

Who it’s for

  • Merging keyword lists from several sources
  • Cleaning an export before importing it elsewhere
  • Checking whether two lists overlap heavily
  • Reducing a bloated list to something manageable

Tips for better results

  • Case-insensitive matching catches most real duplicates.
  • Review the duplicates list: heavy repetition often signals a scraping error.
  • Deduplicate before counting or sorting.

Limitations

Only exact matches are removed; near-duplicates with different word order remain. SocialKeywords does not display search volume, cost-per-click, keyword difficulty or trend percentages, because inventing those numbers would be misleading. Treat the output as a well-organised starting point: keep the phrases that match what you can genuinely write about, remove the ones that do not, and validate anything commercially important against a data source you trust.
